PAST MATRONS OF ELIZABETHTOWN CHAPTER #407 TRAVELLED TO 4 AREAS OF OUR STATE TO PUT ON THE "RITUALISTIC WORK OF 1867". THE MONEY REALIZED, $4,351, WAS USED FOR HOME MAINTENANCE.

REHABILITATION EMPHASIS WAS PUT ON "TIME AND WORK". 23,500 HOURS WERE CREDITED BY HELPING WITH NURSING, REACTION, AND RECEPTION. A SPECIAL GIFT WAS GIVEN TO THE WILKES-BARRE V.A. HOSPITAL, AN AMERICAN FLAG, TO BE PLACED ON THE AVENUE OF FLAGS AT THE APPROACH TO THE HOSPITAL.
