INTERNATIONAL PEACE GARDEN - A GENERAL GRAND CHAPTER PROJECT - WAS EXPECTED TO BE COMPLETED AND DEDICATED IN 1970. THE CHIEF FEATURE WOULD BE A CIRCULAR FOUNTAIN, SYMBOLIZING THE SEARCH FOR PEACE. THERE WOULD BE A FLAME IN THE FOUNTAIN TO SYMBOLIZE MAN'S HOPE FOR UNIVERSAL PEACE.

THE GRAND FAMILY ENTERTAINED 26 ORPHAN CHILDREN AND THE GRAND OFFICERS OF MISSOURI O.E.S, WHO WERE ON TOUR OF HISTORICAL POINTS AND STOPPED OVER IN PHILLY. THE BOYS AND GIRLS WERE FROM THE HOME ON THE GROUNDS OF THE MASONIC HOME FOR THE AGED.
