WE HAVE LOST 5 CHAPTERS AND 2,395 MEMBERS FROM THE LAST GRAND CHAPTER SESSION.

MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE - HELD

"BEAT THE CLOCK CONTEST ON THE DISTRICT LEVEL. PURPOSE WAS TO SIGN PETITIONS FOR NEW MEMBERS. DISTRICT 15-B HAD THE GRAND TOTAL OF 62 NEW MEMBERS.

ENCOURAGEMENT & MOTIVATION COMMITTEE -

HELPED CHAPTERS FIND WAYS TO MOTIVATE THE MEMBERS. SOME OF THE PROBLEMS EXISTING IN CHAPTERS WERE:

1. FRICTION CAUSED BY DIFFERENCES OF OPINION

2. FAULT FINDING & CRITICISM

3. CLIQUES

4. MEMBERS UNABLE TO HEAR

5. NEED FOR TRANSPORTATION

6. LOCATION OF MEETING PLACE & TOO MANY STEPS

7. PAST MATRONS REFUSING TO LAY DOWN GAVEL

8. SECRETARIES WHO TRY TO CONTROL THE CHAPTER

THE PER CAPITA TAX WAS RE-APPORTIONED (BUT NOT INCREASED):
